Game Basics
What Is Blackjack and Why Is It Popular?
Blackjack is a card game built on skill and decision-making — not just luck alone. The goal is straightforward: get a card value closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Every numbered card carries its face value, picture cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10, and an Ace can be worth 1 or 11 depending on your hand.
Blackjack remains the most studied and widely played casino game because of its low house edge compared to other games — especially when players apply basic strategy. This makes blackjack a natural choice for players who want to understand the game in depth rather than relying purely on luck.
At 9kelap, you do not need to visit a physical casino to enjoy this game. Live dealer tables are available at all times, and you can join straight from your mobile phone or laptop — after a deposit as low as RM10.

Basic Strategy
The Right Decisions at the Table
Basic blackjack strategy is a decision guide calculated from statistical probabilities. By applying it consistently, you maximise your chances of winning and minimise the house edge. The table alongside is a quick reference you can use while playing at 9kelap.
Keep in mind that no strategy guarantees a win every time — blackjack still involves an element of chance. However, playing according to basic strategy is far more effective than making decisions at random.

|---|---|---|
| 8 or less | Any | Hit |
| 9 | 3 – 6 | Double |

| 12 – 16 | 7 or above | Hit |

Welcome Bonus
Start With More to Play With
New 9kelap members are eligible for a first deposit bonus that can be used across all games including live blackjack tables. The bonus is calculated automatically when you make your first deposit.
For example: if you deposit RM100, you receive a bonus of RM120, bringing your balance to RM220. The wagering requirement is 10 times the bonus amount — in this case, RM120 × 10 = RM1,200 must be turned over before bonus winnings can be withdrawn. This is one of the more competitive wagering rates in the Malaysian market.
Players who deposit RM2,600 will receive the maximum bonus of RM1,500, bringing the balance to RM4,100 — with a wagering requirement of RM15,000.
10× wagering on bonus amount. Example: deposit RM100 → bonus RM120 → balance RM220 → wagering RM1,200.

For players who enjoy the atmosphere of a sports match — think the tense moments watching EPL or Malaysia Super League on the weekend — live blackjack tables deliver the same feeling: quick decisions, real stakes, and immediate results.
